I've said this before, I'm not a big fan of the basic style of anime. I like anime characters with a more natural look to them, like in "The Animatrix" and in "The Chronicles of Riddick, Dark Fury", so I would say... I like the black hair and brown eyes better.

i saw some of the concept art for the movie on my director's cut dvd (Ressurection) i personaly think that Rei look does look overly more human but i think that is a downside, she looks good being a weirdo with blue hair and red eyes, it suit's an anime character who is not quite human and gives depth to her true nature, also eva unit o1 has toes on it's feet, how stupid looking can you get. let's have a pole on Rei, do you think she looks better with black hair brown eyes or better blue hair red eyes.

Speaking of Rei's hair, I was recently on an evangelion site a few days ago and discovered that theres going to be a full length Evangelion Movie scheduled to come out in 2006. What does this have to do with Rei's hair you ask? Well I got a look at the concept art for the movie and they've changed a lot of things about the characters' appearances . For Rei they changed her name from Rei to well um...Ray (not much of a change), and her hair from blue to black. I didn't get a good look but they've also changed her eyes from red to brown.
