I thought the songs went well with the characters personalitys and they sort of tell stories of what the characters lives are like. In this one the singer talks about how he's left alone, and that's true for Rei, she lives by herself, and then he talks about how he has no commitment to his flesh and blood, that's also true about Rei, because she follows every order that's given to her even if it gets her killed.

noses and lips are always the hardest for them, especially in profile shots. If you move the mouth, the lips in the profile won't move and I hate that. The nose is saved for those weird characters.

well the 2006 release date is on the hopeful side, at the latest 2010. Also, please note that it's just concept art. They had to draw something to go in the plugsuit, which they were experimenting on. Also, because it's only concept art, that doesn't mean that the names or the characters are absolute. I have a feeling they'll stick to the original names and features for the end product. I don't really care if Eva has toes or not, considering it is supposed to be a humanoid robot. They made it with fingers, why not toes? What I don't like is that Unit 00 has a mouth. There's only one Eva that should have a mouth, and that's 01.

it's a good question, one with no real answer. Well, I think it has to do with that they're around only after Second Impact. If you hadn't noticed, Yui and Soryu got sucked into Eva in one form or another, and I guess they figured that anyone that lived before 2I can't pilot. So they tested kids and it worked. But it's very hard to figure out the real answer to that question.
