The Anime may be funnier in this particular episode but other than that the manga is way funnier, like when Asuka was talking about how she was inseminated in a test tube, and Shinji's creeped out because she won't stop talking about sperm. ASUKA: "My mother chose a very exclusive sperm bank. The donor passed a strict qualification test on academic backround and character. of course, the women who buy the sperm have to be similarly qualified as well." SHINJI: (There's something wrong with a 14-year old girl talking about all this sperm..)

Okay Nevyn here's the deal. Asuka is a three quarters japanese, one quarter German girl, who was raised in the States after her mother died. She comes to Japan to help fight the Angels, yadi yadi yadda. She's a bossy pushy know-it-all who thinks she's better then everyone else just because she graduated from college at age fourteen. She likes to talk about her body and how sexy she looks when she's around Shinji, because she knows it makes him uncomfortable. She may be a firery redhead on the outside, but on the inside she's a sweet little girl who cries for her mother because she's dead. She doesn't have a father because she was inseminated in a test tube blah blah blah blahhhhhhhhh. But this is all I got from reading the manga and I haven't finished it yet so there's probably a lot more to her.
